Bridging psychology and well-being through education and care
I am Neena Susan Prakash, a psychology educator and practicing psychologist with over six years of academic experience as an Assistant Professor in Psychology. My journey in this field began with a deep curiosity about the human mind and a desire to make psychology both accessible and meaningful to students and clients.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students, designing engaging curriculums, and mentoring learners to not only understand psychological concepts but also apply them in real-life contexts. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my work as a tutor is watching students grow in confidence—whether it’s mastering a difficult theory, presenting their first research project, or discovering their own passion for psychology.
Alongside teaching, I practice as a psychologist, offering counseling and therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in mental health assessments, counseling techniques, and case documentation, and I value creating safe, empathetic spaces where individuals can explore their challenges and strengths. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology (Gerontology), which allows me to deepen my research expertise in the psychology of aging while continuing to apply evidence-based practices in therapy and teaching.
