About

I am looking for work doing the things I enjoy and what I am good at.

I am a Mechanical Engineer and a Engineering Manager with over 15 years of experience mostly in the Machine Tool Industry. Although I am a good Engineer there are four areas I simply love. The first is designing machines both large and small, the second is working in 3D CAD systems specifically SolidWorks, the third is working with data mostly Excel and Access and the forth is writing VBA programs to simplify tedious tasks.

I have joined this site simply to help others in areas that I enjoy. I am Certified SolidWorks Professional, including SolidWorks certifications in Drafting, Sheet Metal, Mold Tools and FEA. I am working on my SolidWorks Expert Certification. I have written numerous VBA and API programs from very simple (only a few lines on one spreadsheet) to very complex (many sub modules with many lines of code, performing tasks across multiple spreadsheets and workbooks.

Work Terms

I do have a full time job and I coach my sons home school basketball team, however I am a night owl. I can work in late evenings and weekends. The best way to contact me is via a message or email from this site. Once a contract is given additional forms of communication may be supplied.
