I have been in the publishing business for more than 25 years. I started off working as an editorial assistant at a direct mail company. From there, I moved up into editorial at an international company, and then broke off to be an independent contractor, which I have done since 1988. I have worked in virtually every area of publishing, including magazine work, book length fiction and non-fiction, corporate communications, web content. You name it, I've done it. I write and edit, so whatever project you need, I can work with you.

Work Terms

All work terms are negotiable, depending on the project. At the time of hiring, we will agree to a fee structure and work timeline that suit the job. As a professional in my field with a vast range of experience, I insist on earning a professionally competitive fee. I am not your freelancer if you're looking for a beginner willing to work for peanuts. However, I do employ and train recent graduate interns, so sometimes you can get both my experience and their cheaper rates. If you'd like to see samples of my work let me know. Not everything I've done is easy to post here, as some of it is copyrighted, and some of it requires more bites of space. I am usually willing to provide a free sample edit for you, specific to your project.
