My mission is to utilize my many years of Engineering design experience to help my clients bring their ideas to life and succeed in their goals.
To expand upon my summary experience, my particular specialties are component specification, schematic capture and layout of controlled impedance PCBs of up to 16 layers. Although my preferred design tool is Cadence Allegro, I also use Altium Designer and Eagle. I have worked with various ARM processors, 8 and 16 bit microcontrollers, DDR3, I2C, SPI, CAN, WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee and IoT modem modules. My primary focus for software development is on embedded C/C++ and embedded Linux. I also have extensive experience in developing and documenting Engineering and Production level test plans and procedures as well as in writing user level documentation for end products. I am currrently working on a website which will be up shortly.
Work Terms
As I am currently employed full time as an Embedded Systems Design Engeneer, I am primarily interested taking on short term projects that do not require more than 15 hours / week or one time projects that have short turn around times. Payment terms are negotiable. My preferred mode of intitial contact is through Email or through Guru messaging with susbequent contacts through phone or video conferencing.
