An experienced all-rounder, I have edited writing in almost every genre over the past two decades, from art gallery wall texts to novels, though my day job was for many years on the copy desk of newspapers around Asia. Since graduating from University College London and conducting postgraduate research, I also have garnered some experience teaching English as a foreign language, and have worked extensively on texts written by non-native speakers. It’s in the accumulation of these skills that my strength lies, be it in sharpening an argument and keeping it on track over the long haul, or in weighing the overall structural balance of a text with a clear eye for the details of every sentence.
