The Starting Point: Learning on the Line
My journey into Health, Safety, and Environment consulting didn't begin in an office; it began on the ground, amidst the dust and noise of heavy industrial sites, specifically in logistics hubs, mining operations, and construction yards.
I started as a Safety Health and Environmental trainee at Komatsu Botswana at Orapa Diamond mine and went on to work as a Safety Health and Environmental Officer for Pelican Moving Company which is a Logistics company. I was responsible for getting the job done, but I quickly realized that productivity and safety weren't opposing goals, they were two sides of the same coin.
Work Experience: Bridging the Gap
My consulting career has been dedicated to bridging the critical gap between executive policy and frontline execution.
• Core Expertise: Over the past 5 years, I've specialized in building robust, certified management systems, specifically ISO 45001 (OHS) and ISO 14001 (EMS). I don't believe in generic templates; every system I develop is designed to fit the client’s actual operation.
• The Tender Specialist: A significant part of my work involves transforming complex, high-risk operational plans into clear, compliant, and winning SHE tender submissions. I understand the explicit language and strict legal requirements demanded by clients in private sector and government entities.
• Incident Investigation: My greatest professional satisfaction comes from leading a thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA). It’s not about blame, it’s about systemic change. Finding the failure in the system, not the failure in the person, is how we truly achieve long-term incident reduction.

My preferred communication channels are email (for formal documentation and detailed review) and Microsoft Teams (for real-time collaboration and quick check-ins). For short-term, clearly defined projects such as compliance audits or tender SHE plan creation, I utilize a Fixed-Price Model with a 35% deposit required upfront to initiate work and secure my focus, with the balance due upon project completion. For client convenience, payment methods are flexible, including direct bank transfer or secured platform escrow services.
