I was born in upstate New York. I attended SUNY Potsdam where I obtained a BA in psychology. After graduating I moved to Manhattan where I worked as an executive assistant. I decided to move to Georgia where I worked as a health care administrator until I made the change to legal work. I worked for a criminal defense and civil litigation firm where I obtained my certification as a paralegal.
