About

I am a teacher on a misssion to practise what I teach!

I have taught in the UK and NZ since 2008. I have taught across the age groups, and am a trained Reading Recovery Teacher. I currently teach English and other subjects in middle school in Hamilton New Zealand. I have 3 children who keep me busy and we enjoy the outdoors as often as we can! As my role as an English Teacher I often scaffold students who are struggling with formal and descriptive writing. This past year I have thought more and more about becoming a writer myself, and am keen to get started on this journey. I plan on taking a creative writing course in 2017 to improve my own writing skillset.

Work Terms

I prefer to be contacted by email, but am happy to use Skype/facetime or talk on the phone if needed. I am able to work at night and take more on during the school holidays.
