I am a Fellow Chartered Accountant and the Managing Director of GBS Pvt Ltd, with over 15 years of professional experience delivering accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, taxation, and financial advisory services to businesses across Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Sri Lanka.

My career spans in one of Big Four audit firms, multinational corporates, and global outsourcing environments, giving me a strong foundation in technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and commercial practicality. I began my career with Ernst & Young, where I worked extensively in audit, financial reporting, and taxation for multinational companies, listed entities, and state-owned organizations. This experience shaped my strong attention to detail, governance mindset, and commitment to professional standards.

Since 2017, I have worked independently and through GBS Pvt Ltd, supporting international clients with end to end finance operations. My expertise includes full cycle bookkeeping, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, management reporting, payroll processing, BAS and VAT compliance, income tax returns, SMSF reporting, and multi entity, multi currency accounting. I have hands on experience with leading cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, MYOB, Sage, and other ERP and practice management systems.

As managing director of GBS Pvt Ltd, I lead a skilled finance team that provides reliable back office accounting and compliance services to overseas clients, allowing them to focus on growing their businesses with confidence. Our work is driven by accuracy, timeliness, data security, and a client first mindset. I am deeply involved in quality control, process design, and client advisory to ensure work is delivered to international standards.
I am a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, a Member of CPA Australia, and an Intuit QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. In addition to my technical background, I bring strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities, having managed and trained finance teams across multiple jurisdictions.
