2+ years in the field of embedded systems. I have completed various projects on different platforms like AVR/ARM and PIC.

Temperature control using PID on PIC controller. All data was plotted on a graph including values of SP, PV, P, I, D and E using Matlab GUI.

Solar panel tracking using AVR controller. A solar panel was mounted on a Motor and it would move the panel in such a way as to ensure maximum light on the panel

A study of comparison of wireless technologies for process automation
Blue tooth, and wired RS232 standards were compared. These standards were compared on the basis of range, cost, safety, reliability, ease of connection and time for establishing a connection. All firmware was written in C and software using Visual Basic.

Temperature based on/off controller
A fan would be controlled based on a present temperature reading. A LCD and keypad interface was provided. The controller would continuously monitor the temperature and take the control action accordingly. The firmware was written in C for AVR controller.


Electronic Letter Box
An Analog Design project where a green or red led would turn on/off if letter was present or absent. A 555 timer IC and a LDR was used to detect the presence of the letter.
