About

An award-winning writer, an editor, and a ghostwriter, Noah Klein attended the Hollins MFA program on a full scholarship. He delivers quality work, fast.

Hi, I'm Noah Klein. I have four years of writing, editing, managerial, curatorial, and service-based sales experience. I believe these years of experience, in conjunction with my interpersonal and organizational skills, make me the ideal freelancer for your needs.

Currently, I work as a Freelance Creative Media Consultant and Writer, and I work as a Fiction Editor for the The Missing Slate International Literary and Arts Journal (formerly, as the Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief, Articles Editor, and as a Contributing Editor). Recently, The Missing Slate has welcomed Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie as a guest fiction editor and, working as a fiction editor, I recently conducted an interview with Rion Amilcar Scott, author of Insurrections winner of the PEN/Robert W. Bingham award for debut fiction.

I am a recent attendee of MFA program at Hollins University where I was the recipient of the Jackson Center for Creative Writing's Gager Fellowship and the Graduate Assistantship. These grants, accompanied by a handsome stipend, provided me with the opportunity to teach and write fiction in Roanoke, Virginia. I graduated Goucher College in December 2014, worked (assisting in, or independently coordinating over 15 creative writing events) and studied under Madison Smartt Bell, with a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature. During my tenure as an undergrad I was awarded the Kratz Center for Creative Writing’s Summer Fellowship and I produced the Poets' America Anthology in coordination with a small press in Baltimore in the capacity of managing editor. This anthology gathered thirteen poets (all of different races, genders, ages, and sexual orientations) to comment on socio-political issues in American Culture (racism, sexism, educational inequality, and the media). I have also been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
