Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Specialist | Python, Linux, Docker, Networking
Cybersecurity and infrastructure specialist with hands-on experience in security assessment, Linux systems, networking, Python automation, container technologies and technical troubleshooting.
My background combines cybersecurity expertise with practical system, network and software engineering skills. I am comfortable working across Linux environments, Docker-based applications, Kubernetes infrastructure, network services and automation workflows.
My core areas of expertise include:
• Cybersecurity assessment and security testing
• Vulnerability assessment and technical analysis
• Linux system administration and troubleshooting
• Python scripting and automation
• Docker and containerized environments
• Kubernetes configuration and security review
• Git and GitHub workflows
• Network and system security
• Firewall and access control configuration
• API and application security analysis
• Bash and command-line automation
• Repository migration and environment cleanup
• Secret, credential and configuration hygiene
• Technical documentation and handover
• SIP, VoIP and Asterisk environments
I am particularly effective on projects where security, infrastructure and automation overlap. This includes troubleshooting complex technical problems, automating repetitive processes, reviewing configurations, analyzing vulnerabilities, improving development environments, organizing repositories and resolving Linux, Docker or networking issues.
I approach projects with a practical engineering mindset. I focus on identifying the actual problem, implementing a maintainable solution and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
When appropriate, I also provide clear technical documentation, findings and recommendations so that the delivered work can be understood and maintained after handover.
I am comfortable working independently on clearly defined technical projects as well as investigating problems where the root cause is not immediately obvious.
Work Terms
For clearly defined tasks, I generally prefer fixed-price agreements with an agreed scope and deliverables. For troubleshooting, investigation, ongoing development or infrastructure work, hourly arrangements may be more appropriate.
My typical workflow includes:
• Reviewing the requirements and existing environment
• Clarifying the technical scope where necessary
• Identifying risks, dependencies and potential issues
• Performing the agreed implementation, analysis or troubleshooting
• Testing and validating the completed work
• Providing documentation or a concise handover when required
I communicate primarily through Guru and provide progress updates at meaningful stages of the project.
I prefer clear technical communication and realistic expectations regarding scope, deadlines and deliverables.
Any work that falls significantly outside the originally agreed scope will be discussed before implementation.
I can work independently with remote systems, source code repositories, Linux environments, Docker containers and other technical infrastructure when the required access is provided.
For security-related projects, testing scope and authorization should be clearly defined before work begins.
