1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to my graphic design services. By commissioning me for any creative project, digital asset creation, poster design, or Canva template development, you (the "Client") agree to be bound legally by the following terms, conditions, and operational protocols. These terms are established to ensure mutual respect, transparent communication, and the seamless execution of creative deliverables. No variation of these terms shall be binding unless expressly agreed upon in writing by both parties prior to the commencement of work.
2. Scope of Services and Project Initialization
2.1 Project Brief Requirements
To initiate a project, the Client must provide a comprehensive design brief. This brief must include, but is not limited to: copy/text to be included, structural preferences, dimensions, color palettes, brand guidelines, and examples of preferred aesthetic styles.
2.2 Out of Scope Work
Any request made by the Client that deviates from or extends beyond the original project brief as agreed upon during the quoting phase will be deemed "Out of Scope." Out-of-scope work will require a separate evaluation and will be billed at an additional hourly or fixed rate.
2.3 Canva Link Deliverables
When projects require deliverables via Canva, the final product will be transferred either as a flattened file (PDF/PNG) or as a editable "Canva Template Link," depending on the agreed agreement. The Client is responsible for maintaining their own Canva account to access and edit these files after delivery.
3. Pricing, Financial Commitments, and Payment Milestones
3.1 Deposit and Retainer Fee
For all independent projects exceeding a baseline value, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before any design conceptualization, research, or drafting begins. This deposit secures the project slot in my academic and professional calendar.
