About

Winner are not people who never fails, but people who never quit

It's a long story, but let me tell you a bit about myself.

The students who come to the University of Tokyo love programming, and often ask how to become a software developer and be as successful and employable as possible immediately after graduation.
But my opinion about programming was different from them.
I didn't like programming because I thought that I'm not kind of person who likes to sit one place a long time and think about something.
Students who like programming are all strangers to me.

One day during my vacation I had a chance to take part in interview with Luis Von Ahn who is known as one of the pioneers of crowd-sourcing by accidentally.
That days interview was really impressive and then my life was started to change.
At that time I was 17 years old young boy.

Day and day I got interested in programming and studied hard and someday it became one part of my life.
So I could get good jobs after I graduated from university.

Now it became to the important part in my life.
During my professional career, I have found several stuff I have been considering as my motto.
The first thing I would say is "don't do it for the money."
There is good money in software development, but do it because it's what you really love to do and
what you enjoy doing, because a career is a very large part of your life and you are gonna be spending
a lot of time doing it and pleasure and happiness, responsibility and commitment are going to
get you a lot further along and to an enjoyable life and money ever. So, if you love doing it,
you are gonna do it well and I would say "stick with it if it's what you love."
The second thing I would say "don't overlook any opportunities" because no opportunity is too small.

One thing I want to say to you who have interested in Software World is "Try with your creative idea.
Then you could get chance of success like Bill Gates someday".
May there will be troubles too but winner are not people who never fails but people who never quit.
