Building Credible Sustainability. Carbon, Compliance, Systems. Real Impact.
I am an environmental and ESG professional with 14+ years of hands-on experience helping organizations navigate environmental and social due diligence, sustainability strategy, carbon accounting, regulatory compliance, and integrated management systems. My passion? Turning environmental responsibility into competitive advantage, and doing it with rigor, integrity, and no greenwashing.
I began my career in Nigeria, where I worked on environmental and social impact assessments across diverse sectors, from financial services to oil and gas. This foundation taught me that environmental stewardship isn't just compliance; it's foundational to long-term business resilience. I have since spent years in senior roles at EY's Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) and EBS Advisory, where I led 25+ environmental and HSE projects, conducted comprehensive environmental and social due diligence assessments, designed and implemented integrated management systems, and guided organizations through ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
My Core Expertise:
-Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD): Pre-acquisition, pre-investment, and regulatory assessments identifying material E&S risks
-Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS): Design, implementation, and operational integration for risk management
-ESG Reporting & Sustainability Disclosure (GRI, SASB, TCFD frameworks)
-Carbon Accounting & GHG Emissions (GHG Protocol, Scope 1-3 inventories, net-zero pathways)
-Environmental Compliance & Regulatory Audits (federal, provincial, municipal)
-ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 Environmental and Health & Safety Management System implementation
I am committed to helping organizations do sustainability right; combining rigorous methodology with practical business thinking. I have worked with multinational corporations, financial institutions, private equity firms, and mid-market companies across multiple jurisdictions, bringing enterprise-level discipline to every engagement.
I am an engineer by training, a problem-solver by nature, and endlessly curious about how systems work, from environmental compliance frameworks to risk management. I am passionate about sports, real estate trends, and how communities accelerate climate action. Most importantly, I am family-first, navigating the beautiful complexity of building a multicultural life in Canada while mentoring my children.
