Mechanical engineering and MBA degrees
Hands-on relevant oil & gas industry experience with engineering consultants & multinational operators including 8.5 years gulf experience
Experience of upstream facilities engineering / project management, contract administration and multidisciplinary technical & contractual interface management at various phases of projects such as conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning etc.
Liaison experience with various departments during project implementation such as Facilities Engineering, Project Management, Planning & Cost Control, Risk & Safety (HSE), Contracts & Procurement, Accounts & Finance, Operations & Maintenance, Reservoir & Exploration and Construction & Commissioning.
Contract Holder of various multi-million dollars contracts for multiple upstream projects at a time with OCCIDENTAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION in Oman.
Contract technical/commercial administration and contractor / stakeholders’ management in compliance with company HSE policy and project management systems.
Good experience of technical & commercial proposals review & preparation, competitive bidding, proposal evaluation and recommendation & award
Commercial & Technical risk (Design Reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL Studies) assessment & management and local regulatory/authorities compliances such as Explosive, OGRA etc as well as international codes & standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, NACE etc.
Project progress & KPI reporting and day-to-day project tasks management etc. Liaison & managing various teams (especially technical) for project implementation & execution.
