About

"Turning Social Data into Meaningful Decisions." 🔹 Mission: Deliver research-driven insights 🔹 Promise: Actionable, accurate, and relevant analysis 🔹 Brand: Reliable, data-savvy expert

My name is Oyewola Abdulafeez Adewale. I am a passionate social researcher and data analyst with a strong background in sociology and community development. My journey into research began with a desire to understand people and provide data-driven solutions to societal problems. With hands-on experience conducting field surveys, analyzing data using tools like SPSS, Excel, and Power BI, and presenting insights that drive impact, I have developed a well-rounded approach to social inquiry and analysis.

As a research assistant at the Department of Sociology, Federal University Birnin Kebbi, I participated in two major studies on occupational hazards and crime prevention. These experiences taught me the power of qualitative and quantitative research in shaping policy and improving lives. I gathered data from artisans and local community members, analyzed trends, and co-authored summaries that informed decision-making. It was during these field visits that I began to see data not just as numbers but as real human experiences captured and organized.

In my role as an SDGs Advocate during my NYSC, I designed impact assessment tools and led community outreach programs that reached over 500 individuals. I coordinated volunteers, managed feedback data, and helped increase awareness of sustainable development by 40 percent in our project areas. I also served as President of the Nigerian Sociological and Anthropological Student Association where I led over 200 members, organizing events and driving student participation through meaningful programs.

Beyond formal roles, I carried out a humanitarian project in Amanawa, Kebbi State, supporting leprosy patients with hygiene kits. This initiative emerged from direct community assessment and reinforced my belief that impactful work starts with listening to people.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and interacting with data in everyday life. Whether I am building dashboards to track my personal goals or analyzing trends in social behavior, I find fulfillment in discovering patterns and translating them into solutions. I believe that curiosity, empathy, and evidence can transform communities.

I bring to every project a commitment to accuracy, a drive for social impact, and the skill to turn data into actionable insight. I am open to collaborations that value research, integrity, and results.
