Thai - English Translator/Interpreter/ Content & Copywriter + Cultural Analyst/ Researcher

Born in Thailand, was awarded a full scholarship from the Royal Thai Government to study in the UK from Higher Education (A-level) up to postgraduate level, and recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies (First Class Honours) from the University of Leeds, UK.

A competent cultural analyst and researcher with an excellent combination of organisation, communication and extensive research skills in social and humanity areas including arts, media, and culture. Able to conduct in-depth and insightful research from both historical (libraries, museums, etc.) and digital (internet) archive. Very experienced in sourcing and interpreting a wide and complex range of data. Actively utilises planning, organisation and time management skills under demanding conditions to deliver assignments within tight-set time limits and to a high-quality standard. Also a good team player with excellent communication skills (both written and oral) as having worked in big companies which have complex managerial procedures.

A bilingual in Thai and English as having attended a bilingual secondary school in Thailand and have studied in the UK for 5 years. Have translated parts of the modern classic Thai novel ‘Khu Kam’ (???????) into English as part of the undergraduate dissertation project which received an outstanding result.

Regarding work experience, currently works as a freelance EN-TH translator and proofreader for TOPICA Edtech Group (a leading online education provider in Southeast Asia) and IYUNO Thailand (a leading provider of media services). Has also undertaken several content and copywriting projects. Also works as a part-time English tutor in the biggest private tutoring school? in Ayutthaya province, Thailand.

Guarantee an accurate and high-quality English-Thai translation, copywriting, content writing, and internet research especially in the field of the arts, media, and culture.

Available to work for more than 30 hours/week.

$12 hourly rate or $0.035 per word of English (for translation).
