First-class English Language and Literature graduate and current post-graduate student at Cambridge University.

With 9 years of freelance proofreading and editing experience and 2 years as Marketing Executive for a business in Milton Keynes, I have worked with individuals and businesses alike to improve and perfect their communications, marketing materials, professional reports and proposals. This also includes writing and updating web content and providing content for social media sites.

My strengths include:

- proof-reading (particularly grammar checking)
- copy editing
- copy writing
- writing for business

In my spare time, I also act as beta-reader for amateur online writers, particularly those for whom English is not their first language.

Work Terms

My hourly rate will be dependent on the service offered. As a general guide, I charge £25 per 1000 words or £15 per page for leaflets and flyers etc, but fees are negotiable (particularly where the fee looks to exceed £100).

I currently work full time, so my Guru working hours will be from 1-2pm, and again from 6pm until 10pm on weekdays. I am also happy to work weekends from 9am until 7pm. However, I will always be available via email, even on week days.

Deadlines negotiable.
