English to French - IT/Technical Translations - Trados 2017

I am French and worked 9 years in an In-House Translations Department, translating over 7 million words in various fields not too technical (Finances, Religion, IT, Management, Marketing, etc.) This comprises all types of material, from promotional items, manuals and legal forms, to Web site, voice over scripts and subtitles.

Now, as a Freelancer Translator, I am specializing in my areas of expertise, IT and Technical, as I worked over 15 years as a Programmer and System Administrator and got initially trained in Mechanical Engineering, where I got a Master Degree, a Diploma of Thorough Studies and passed successfully the Aggregation, a top teaching diploma in France, after what I taught 3 years Mechanical Engineering and CAT in a University Department.

I am very familiar with Indesign and all MS Office applications and can handle about any type of files.

I am using Trados 2015, SmartCat and XBench as CAT Tools.

I translate an average of 55-60 hours per week and I have an output of 2500 words about per day, once the terminology has been defined.

Since working as a Freelancer Translator and over the last 1,5 years, I got approved as translator for the following agencies - Straker, Translia, Jonckers, MaxSun, ABBYY, OSW, Linearis and Between Worlds and many others.
