Mr. Bertucci founded a small database consulting & software company called Data by Design, LLC (www.dataXdesign.com) a number of years ago with offices on the west coast (Oregon) and in Europe (Paris, France). He also co-founded a data provenance software company called Diginome™, Inc. (www.diginome.com) and as its co-founder has been pioneering development of the Diginome DataDNA™ technology since its inception.
Mr. Bertucci is one of the world's leading data architects, system architects, and product architects. He is recognized globally for his data modeling, data analysis, database design, data quality/master data management, data architecture, system architecture, product design/architecture, and strategic direction/vision skills. He has written several books on database, data integration, and high availability and is a frequent speaker at major conferences around the globe.
Mr. Bertucci's formal education is in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley. He recently was the Chief Data Architect for software giant Symantec (for 4 years) and Chief Architect and Director of Shared Services for Autodesk (for 6 years) leading the charge in their strategic systems, data, integration, and technology directions. He has also created and architected numerous complex commercially available software products in the database, data analytics, performance and tuning, strategic planning and data integration server technology areas.
