I am a highly creative person, fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. I can do any kind of translation work, and also Creative and academic writing.
I am a Portuguese and English teacher with a Master's Degree in Portuguese Studies and a PhD in Cultural Studies. I have a wide experience in teaching English Language to all age groups (from Kindergarten to adult teaching). I have won aan Honorable Mention in Creative Writing Contest in 2013 (in Portuguese). Also took a course in Academic Writing in 2010 at the University of Aveiro. Currently working as na English teacher at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. I have done several book presentations and book review both in English and Portuguese, including book from the renow portuguee fiction writer Gonçalo M. Tavares. My fiction writing interests include poetry, postmodern literature, horror and mystery novel/short story. I also have great interest in cinema and script writing.
Apart from this, I am also a musician. I am a highly creative musical mind, and have created some flute related experiences online, namely on youtube and instagram, under the name "Fluteloose". I have classical music education, starting at the age of 7 in the local Music Conservatory and later moving on to study Jazz at a private school, also in my hometown. Have played several gigs in local bars with a Jazz band and also particiated in a number of jam sessions. I play the flute and the alto sax.
