Formerly Publisher of Sierra Club Books, VIA Books (a division of AAA) and VP, Publishing at the Palace Publishing Group, Peter Beren has nearly four decades of experience in the book publishing industry.The author of "The Golden Gate", he is a member of the Association of Authors' Representatives (AAR). Currently, a Literary Agent (The Peter Beren Agency) and a Book Publishing Consultant, he works with authors, self-publishers and independent book publishers. He is also a member of the Bay Area Independent Publishers Association (BAIPA), The Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) and the Book Publishing Forum (BPF).
