I am a recently-graduated English major from the University of Alberta who loves the written word in all of its forms, from reports, to persuasive essays, to business writing. I have worked as a technical writer, editor, and blogger for the online presence of several local businesses (with SEO in mind) and hope to continue my work with words as your guru. I have also worked as a writing tutor at my university's writing centre, where I was truly able to hone my editing abilities, as tutoring writing involves not only teaching students fundamental writing skills such as grammar and punctuation, but knowing the rules and procedures of the English language inside and out so that I could teach students how to conduct research, refine style, and clearly execute their message. This concept of clarity of message has therefore become of utmost importance in my technique, in unison with perfection of grammar and punctuation. I would also like to humbly mention that my bi-monthly tutor evaluations were telling of my dedication, showing a 96% satisfaction rate, and that many of the anonymous comments I received affirmed my comprehensive methods, patience, and willingness to attend to any problem that a writer might have had.
I can edit any form of writing including academic writing, business writing, personal statements, and can write all kinds of content such as blog posts and product descriptions. I also speak, read, and write in Arabic.
