I'm a US-based programmer that just enjoys programming. I've 20+ years of experience in C#, Python, Java, Javascript and others. While I do have experience in C++ and Cobol, I prefer not to work with those languages.
I also have years of experience with various databases (Oracle, MSQL, sqlite, Access, etc). But the type of projects I take on Guru tend to be isolated with sample datasets that are independent of server-based databases.
After working on several high-profile projects for several Fortune 500 companies and a few large industrials, I created a guru account to facilitate an easier way for the large companies to hire me.
Work Terms
I take on special projects for fun, and I've got a full-time job during normal business hours. As a result, I tend to work evenings and nights -- sometimes weekends. I communicate via email, and I require communications to stay professional. I DO NOT take critical projects unless agreed upon in advance. I do this to protect my full-time job.
