About

Professional music transcriber, engraver, typesetter, copyist, arranger since 2011.

I have perfect pitch, and am able to notate music to an excellent standard from audio alone, as well as from handwritten manuscripts, using the latest version of Sibelius (and Musescore on request). My engraving, transcription and proofreading skills have been described by many clients as absolutely outstanding. In addition, I create music books for clients, I am familiar with the booklet layout process, and often work to tight printing and distribution deadlines, sometimes in co-ordination with a printing company. I am in constant contact with clients and often the printing company throughout the day, and adapt my house style to suit the needs of clients.

I have run Pitch Perfect Music Services since 2011, and I have a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Music (2:1), with a First in the Harmony and Aural Skills module, and a Master of the Arts degree in Music with Merit from Newcastle University, UK, obtained in 2007 and 2008 respectively.

Work Terms

Available for work between the hours of 10am and 6pm (GMT), Monday-Friday. I charge £40/hour to transcribe or engrave using Sibelius, one of the top professionally recognised notation programs. I can deliver any desired file format - SIB files, PDF, XML, MIDI and so on.
