I’m Piyush Pandey, a Mechanical Engineer by profession and a problem-solver by passion. My journey with engineering began not just in classrooms, but in my constant curiosity to figure out how things work — from dismantling gadgets as a kid to building functional prototypes during my studies. That same curiosity has grown into a career where I design, simulate, and refine products with precision and creativity.

I’ve had the opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical device R&D at Forus Health, where I led design iterations that reduced weight by 20% and cut costs by 15% while improving usability. It taught me that engineering is not only about making things work, but making them work better, smarter, and more efficiently.

What defines me as an engineer is my value for precision and usability — a design should not just exist on paper; it should survive real-world challenges and deliver value to people. That’s why I specialize in 3D CAD modeling, FEA simulations, and manufacturable designs with GD&T principles — bridging the gap between imagination and production.

Outside of my work, I’m deeply interested in how data science and AI can automate design and simulation workflows, making engineering more intelligent and efficient. I also enjoy playing guitar, exploring new ideas in biomechanics, and working on side projects that let me blend creativity with technical rigor.

Work Terms

Working Hours - I usually dedicate around 6–8 hours a week to client projects, but I’m flexible depending on what the project needs. My focus is always on delivering quality on time, so I’ll work with you to set realistic timelines that suit both of us.

Payment Terms - I’m comfortable working on either hourly or fixed-price projects. For bigger projects, we can set up clear milestones so both sides feel secure. Once we agree on the plan, I’ll get started right away.

Communication -I believe good design comes from good conversations. I’m happy to connect over Guru chat, or even quick Google Meet calls — whichever works best for you. I aim to reply within 24 hours on weekdays, and I like keeping weekly updates so you’re always in the loop.

Collaboration - I see every project as a partnership. I’ll bring in my skills and creativity, and I’d love your feedback along the way to make sure we build something you’re truly happy with.
