I ghostwrite non-fictions and fictions.

I am an Anthropologist and co-founded and led a research agency for 28 years before hanging up my boots.

I took to ghostwriting in early 2025 and completed 3 assignments by the end of 2025:

o The first assignment was for a US-Based client from Upwork. The client had written his memoir using AI. My task was to rewrite the memoir in a human language. I used a multi-draft technique to transfer the AI-written manuscript into a Human-written manuscript.
o The second assignment was for a US-based Founder of a Marketing Consulting firm. He had developed a 'leadership model' based on the BTS framework (Business, Technology, and Sustainability). I wrote the book echoing his ideas and concepts, giving it his voice through my words.
o The last assignment of 2025, a fiction, was for a Mumbai (India)-based Consultant. He wanted me to write a book on the socio-political scenario of his home state. The primary focus was to analyze the reasons for the state's decline through storytelling.

As a ghostwriter, my priority is to reproduce the voice of the author. I’ve designed the 3C concept of:
• Copy (the voice/idea)
• Curate (organize)
• Create (produce)

Approach:
• Constant interface with the author at all stages of writing the manuscript.
• Multiple drafts for the first few pages. Hopefully will get used to the flow thereafter.
• Should begin with a complete chapterization plan, i.e., title of each chapter, description, flow, conclusion, call to action (CTA)

Modus Operandi:
• Start with a questionnaire to understand the overall concept from the author, to get familiar with the subject (self-recorded by the author).
• The author may share voice-recorded descriptions for each section.
• The ghostwriter transcribes and reproduces the section and shares it with the author.
• Research forms an integral part of the process.
• Apart from the content, the pictorial representation (if any) is discussed. The responsibility of designing the pictorial representation is also placed and finalized.
• A mutually agreed Gnatt Chart with milestones is finalized.
• Share the chapterization plan.
• Keep editing and sharing with the client until finalized.

Work Terms

I work for 25 hours a week. and charge around $25 per hour. I call this my ‘no regret price’, but I expect a fair deal from my clients, which I often receive as well.

I work on a 10-20% advance payment on the signing of the contract.
