Puffball Studio is an interdisciplinary team of Pakistani artists, designers, writers, musicians, illustrators, actors and content creators who want to make 2D animation great again! We specialize in providing turnkey creative services in the form of high quality quirky multilingual animated content that showcases local aesthetics along with audio engineering, scoring, mastering and voice acting.
Puffball Studio is not merely an animation studio, it is a passion project of a range of individuals who eat, drink and breathe storytelling, music, animation and meaningful design.
Puffball Studio’s latest project includes the highly anticipated Shehr e Tabassum, Pakistan’s first ever Urdu language cyberpunk short film whereas previous projects cover a range of visually distinct and conceptually interesting animated shorts including one on smog awareness, a rap music video, a short film on bonded labour, etc.

Work Terms
We generally start with a project introduction and initial conversation about goals and outputs. At this stage, we learn your requirements and mutually set a timeline as well as milestones. After initial terms are mutually understood and agreed on, our team goes about meeting these milestones. The milestones and timelines naturally vary based on the project and the output quantity and type.
Our goal is to always create a final output that satisfies our creative team as well as our partners and clients; we welcome a healthy level of communication and a regular feedback loop and are always interested in a collaborative approach to our work.
Our preferred method of communication is email but we are more than happy to set up regular Skype calls as well as through WhatsApp.
Our regular working hours are 10 am to 5:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time but we are always happy to work flexibly and accommodate for time zone differences.
