My passion is to convey images and ideas using my storytelling skills, imagination and instincts for employing effective, distilled language.
Rae, a recent graduate of the University of Chicago, is a Chicago and LA-based writer, editor and actor. She has written freelance for Newcity, and wrote the research papers that served as the foundation for Universal Studio's monster movie reboot scripts. She's been an executive and galleys editor for Polyphony H.S. Literary Magazine since 2008. As an actor, she's worked on Broadway, at Steppenwolf, and in TV shows on HBO, CBS, Showtime, Netflix, ABC and NBC. She's a proficient proofreader, line editor, workshopper, and copywriter. She is beginning the application process for Creative Writing MFA programs.
