A chartered accountant with an entrepreneurial mindset, who got placed in Price Waterhouse Coopers at the age of 18. Later, helped a senior successfully set up a thriving CA firm in Bangalore for 3 years.
Always enthralled by investing because of the high impact created & handsome fees structure of a fund, my aspiration to be a fund manager/Partner at an investment management company became unequivocal.
To understand the startup landscape, I joined a niche lending FinTech startup. Went on to build 3 lending products. Also, proactively stepped into strategy consulting role which resulted in a 3.33X higher revenue ceasing the need for further fundraising, earning my promotion to the position of a director.
Later, joined a VC fund as an investment associate. Led transactions from Sourcing & evaluating investment prospects, due diligence, deal structuring post-term sheet negotiations, business modeling and commercial diligence, liaison with external diligence parties & closure
