Raphael Poirot combines his passion for helping people and extensive background in operations to positively impact business leaders through coaching and help them Thrive in business and in life.
Raphael brings his engineering and business education from France and after leading the US operations of a small French engineering firm for 3 years, he decided to pursue his career in the B2C industry and joined Walgreens Boots Alliance, the top Fortune 50 retailer in Chicago.
He quickly delivered value for the organization with his leadership skills and focus on innovation. He developed and grew market share in Chicago, Denver and St-Louis regions, as well as mentored many leaders to achieve high levels of prominence within the company for over 15 years. Back in Chicago as Director of Operations, he oversaw over 3,000 employees with a budget in excess of $1 Billion.
Raphael enjoys giving back to the community and volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House Charities, as well as United Way, coaching and mentoring students in Chicago.
He is a member of Toastmasters International and frequently competes in speech competitions.
As a hobby with his wife and young daughter, they love travelling to discover and learn from new cultures around the world.
Raphael, now as a Certified Business Coach with FocalPoint combines his passion, international experience and extensive operational background, with FocalPoint’s proven and tested coaching curriculum and methodologies, to provide outstanding value to his clients.
