SAP PM Consultant | 6+ Years in Power Plant Maintenance Systems | Master Data, Migration & Cross-Module Integration
SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and S/4HANA EAM Consultant with 6+ years of experience across full-cycle implementation and live production support in large-scale thermal power operations. I specialize in translating complex maintenance workflows into scalable, efficient SAP configurations — backed by a strong foundation in cross-module integration (PP, MM, CO, QM) and a Power BI / AI-ML background applied to predictive asset management.
What I bring to your project:
Full-Cycle Implementation & Support
I’ve led blueprinting, configuration, and deployment of PM master data and core maintenance workflows for a complete S/4HANA EAM rollout, and currently run daily hyper-care and production support for 80+ end-users — maintaining system stability and SLA compliance for critical plant applications.
Master Data & Data Migration
Deep expertise in Functional Locations, Equipment Master, BOM, Task Lists, Work Centers, Measuring Points, and Classes & Characteristics. I’ve executed zero-data-loss LTMC/LSMW mass uploads of 100+ Equipment Master and BOM records, using custom data mapping to ensure clean, accurate migrations.
Maintenance Planning & Order Management
Skilled in Single Cycle, Strategy-Based, and Multi-Counter maintenance plans and scheduling. I manage the full order lifecycle — Notification/Order Types, Release, Confirmations, TECO, Financial Settlement, and Business Closing — and have built strategy-based preventive maintenance plans for 2x135MW and 4x300MW thermal power units, directly improving machinery availability.
Cross-Module Integration
Strong hands-on experience integrating PM with MM (procurement/spares), PP (capacity planning), CO (cost settlement), and QM (calibration & sampling) — streamlining workflows and cutting procurement cycle times for critical spares.
Process & Efficiency Improvements
Redesigned task lists and automated measuring points to lift maintenance scheduling efficiency by 95%. Introduced Total Quality Management (TQM) practices across maintenance operations, reducing labor idle time and improving shift scheduling. Authored SOPs and end-user manuals that standardized tasks and shortened onboarding for new technical staff.
Analytics & Digitalization
Beyond core SAP PM work, I bring a Post Graduate certification in AI & Machine Learning (Great Lakes Institute / UT Austin McCombs School of Business), with hands-on experience in Python and Power BI — enabling predictive maintenance insights that go beyond traditional SAP reporting.
Background:
6+ years with JSW Energy across thermal power plants in Barmer, Rajasthan and Bellary, Karnataka, plus earlier project engineering experience managing budgets, BOMs, and technical scheduling. SAP PM Consultant certified (Henry Harvin, 2021), B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
I’m available for freelance SAP PM/EAM configuration, support, data migration, and process optimization projects — remote or on-site. Let’s discuss how I can help.
