Dr. Raúl de Celis has gained professional experience in the field of Navigation, Guidance and Control, of Autonomous Aerial Platforms for the Spanish air-force, Airbus and Academic Research.

Professional Experience:

2016 - Now: Assistant Professor, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC), Madrid.
Research projects: Guidance, Navigation and Control of aerospace vehicles: Development of flight mechanics models and GN&C algoritms using Matlab / Simulink and Labview. Trajectory optimization using operational research tools (GAMS). Lectures in the following courses: Air Navigation, Control and Guidance Systems, Flight Mechanics, Air Space Exploitation.

September 2015 – September 2016: Program Manager, Escribano Mechanical and Engineering, Madrid. Program Manager for IMU-GPS Guidance Artillery Rocket Integration, Responsible for Guidance Navigation and Control Artillery Rockets Department. Development of flight mechanics models and GN&C algorithms using Matlab / Simulink and elaboration of embedded code in VHDL for some weapon projects for Spanish air-force and middle east exportation.

September 2014 – September 2016: Visitant Lecturer (Partial time Contract), Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC), Madrid. Lectures in the following courses: Air Navigation, Control and Guidance Systems, Flight Mechanics, Air Space Exploitation.

Altran Innovacion sub-contractor for Airbus. Model Based Systems Engineer. A350 EXT LIGHT SYSTEM MBSE: Coordinator of the model development for A350XWB External light Control system in Matlab / Simulink. A320NEO Air BLEED MBSE Control system: Developer of a standalone A320NEO Bleed Control system model in Matlab / Simulink. A350XWB Air BLEED MBSE: Coo-worker in the Development of a standalone A320NEO Bleed Control system model in Matlab / Simulink and IBM Rhapsody.

Jul2010 – Aug2012:Consultant Engineer, Ingenieria y Servicios Aeroespaciales (INSA), Madrid.Working in INSA as sub-contractor consultant for MIT (Marañosa Technological Institute) as Rocket Simulation Engineer. GRETA: development of a GNC system for non-guided 70mm helicopter rockets from Spanish Army.
