About

Lead crossfunctional teams, meet the deliverables based on the four goal sets: product performance, product cost, project schedule and project budget.

Born and raised in Colorado, Rex has been skiing since the tender age of three, and raced competitively for the Lake Eldora Race Team throughout his youth. Between racing and free skiing, Rex spent an average of 100 days each year skiing down snow-topped mountains.

After attending the University of Wyoming, Rex began his professional career at Intec, an industry leading insulation equipment manufacturer. Starting in 1980, Rex led product design and operations where he developed a revolutionary insulation machine (patent no. 4560307). He also introduced rotational molding into the industry and successfully launched three products based on this new technology.

In 1988, Rex became President of Intec, a position he held for 23 years. During his tenure, the company grew from $500,000 to annual revenues of $16 million. Intec supplied and developed custom products for industry giants like, Johns Manville, Guardian Fiberglass, Owens Corning and CertainTeed.

Throughout, Rex continued to design and develop new equipment: from patented hydroseeding equipment to the first automated machine for dispensing fiber into concrete. This equipment was installed to help construct the English Channel Tunnel.

Between 2003 and 2010, Intec was the world’s largest supplier of Insulation equipment and accessories and became the sole supplier to Fortune 500 companies including Owens Corning, Johns Manville, Guardian Fiberglass, CertainTeed, Home Depot, Lowes, True Value and Ace Hardware. The company employed 35 people at its peak.
