My Journey through the Years

In my youth, I did many different things from being an idle student to opposing apartheid to ranging across Africa as a disillusioned hippy when society turned against me because I could not understand injustice.

After exploring all the world's religions and preferring being a Christian, I drifted back into mainstream life and made my way up the corporate ladder to a middle management position I no longer wanted.

I resigned, tripped over a shrinking bank balance and fell into the writing gig unintentionally after searching in vain for ways to become rich on the internet by doing nothing. Despite the fact that writing is no recipe for wealth, I rather enjoy it. I will deny I am obsessed with it when I have the time.

I have become an eclectic writer, with my hobby and my income stream aligned. If you want something written that is useful, genuine, true and perhaps inspiring, then please consider me an option and make contact here.

My base is Umtentweni in South Africa on the South African Kwazulu-Natal South Coast (30.7167° S, 30.4667° E). I work from home where I ponder on the future of the planet, and what lies beyond in the great hereafter. Sometimes I step out of my computer into the silent riverine forests, and empty golden beaches for which the area is renowned.

Work Terms

I freelance fulltime 30 - 40 hours a week. I like to work with several clients because I enjoy variety and must protect my cash flow. I suggest we start with 5 hours a week while we trial each other out. I write 400 words an hour proofread and ready to post, so you know exactly what I am going to cost.
