About

Writer are more necessary now than ever. The world is hungry for information, but only information properly conveyed has an impact. I always make an impact.

Second-generation writer, I grew up in newsrooms throughout my childhood, tagging along with my father on his beats and assignments. This led to my own natural inclination to do what I did best as a career. This paid off. Within a year of intense scrutiny of a dog-eared copy of the latest Writer's Market, I learned how to write a query letter editors wouldn't throw in the trash. After snagging my first national gig writing about the Ultimate Fighting Championship for Black Belt Magazine, I began working for the mixed martial arts phenomenon in its infancy and traveled the world covering spin-offs.

When politics choked the UFC out, I forayed my experience working in extreme sports and adventure lifestyles to coverage of the Eco-Challenge in British Columbia. This adventure race demanded of 4-man teams the completion of a 400+-mile course in pristine exotic locations over a near two-week time frame. I began covering other Ecos, in Australia and Argentina, and networked my way into other adventure races held in the world's largest deserts.

My work appeared in countless magazines, newspapers, websites/blogs, PR material, books and scripts over a 15 year period working as a full-time international freelance writer and photographer. I secured a regular contributor spot with Penthouse Magazine's "View from the Top" column, which featured topics I pursued - always adrenalized, super-charged, original and bold. Other publications, like Razor Magazine, Men's Journal, Blue Magazine, Black Book, Bikini kept me constantly working and traveling building bodies of work around my various pet subjects.

After years of global travel I decided to try my hand at real investigative journalism, as my father had done throughout his lauded career. I focused on mortgage fraud/financial collapse in 2008, Bitcoin, and a still-unsolved murder of a southern teen.

Today I am an editor of a small weekly newspaper and maintain several online blogs/pages.

I am always looking for ways to live.

Work Terms

I'm not cheap, I'm worth it, I'm a professional and expect you to be as well. I will discuss fees with you and can be flexible according to the needs/job, and how much it interests me personally.

I'm deadline focused at all times and expect to be respected when I'm working under them. Distractions are the bane of a writer's success.
