A PCB design engineer with knowledge of OrCAD and Mentor Graphics PADS Layout.

Projects Executed:
• LED Driver for Downlight application (1 Layer PCB): The project involved fly back control IC, which provides constant current output without any need of optocoupler in secondary feedback circuit.
• 3W LED Bulb (1 Layer PCB): The MCPCB module for Bulb applications.
• Switch Interface for ARM (1 Layer PCB): The board had switches, which were connected to the ports of ARM via 1 Pin Connector.
• LED Driver for Street Light application (1 Layer PCB)
• 100W Downlight (1 Layer PCB)
• PIC Project (2 Layer PCB): The purpose of this project was to enable data collection from various sensors and communicate with PIC over a serial bus. The voltage supply of 5V was required for the Controller. The PCB included Real Time Clock (RTC) along with coin cell battery to power it, LEDs for status and diagnostics and LCD connector to interface with LCD display.
• Controller Card (4 Layer PCB): FPGA Development Board.
Significant Highlights:
• Familiar with schematic design in OrCAD Capture CIS, which includes schematic entry, part creation and part editing, net class creation and netlist, Design Rule Check (DRC), BOM and ECO processes.
• Knowledge of footprint creation, which includes through hole and Surface Mount Devices (SMDs).
• Experience in board designing, which includes board size and shape creation, component placements, PCB Routing up to 4 layers, plane creation, constraint setting, DRC and Gerber generation.
• Good understanding of IPC-7351 Land Patterns.
