I am an accomplished bilingual teacher, specializing in English. I have taught students primarily in Ukraine since 2019. I excel in leading speaking clubs, grammar instruction, and creative writing instruction. I am also a published author on Elephant Journal and the eBook, Mental Maintenance. Mental Maintenance was born out of the four years I spent volunteering for a language camp in Kyiv, Ukraine. My intention was to create a resource that will assist teachers here in the United States.
The Rockabilly Learning Center was created after friends of mine caught on to the fact that the "Rockabilly" look suited me. Out of this, the character, Rockabilly Rosie was born, and my students in Ukraine actually know her more than they really know me. They look forward to her quirky antics and faux pas's, but her main aim is to encourage learning languages whether it is English, French, or another language. She shares in their challenges of language learning as she learns, Ukrainian and Scots Gaelic. Rockabilly Rosie and I both believe that languages are the window and portals to the world, and by learning we can have very full lives.
