IT Business Analyst, Consultant, Scrum Master

I, Rumesh Wijetunge am a experienced and well qualified IT Business Analyst and Scrum Master with 11 years of experience in the industry possessing experience working in Sri Lanka and abroad delivering solutions for Fortune 500 companies from various domains including Telco, Healthcare & Insurance, Airlines, Hospitality and Leisure.
I have delivered over 25 high value software products comprising of complex business architectures by liaising with strategic and BU level stakeholders. I am conversant in business analysis activities including requirements elicitation and analysis, consulting, solution assessment and validation, in customer account management and client services management through proposing, negotiating futuristic ideas to grow customer accounts and in project / program management activities such as project planning, stakeholder and vendor management, project execution, resource management, risk management, billing, invoicing and revenue realization of waterfall and agile projects. My business and technical acumen as well as the professional qualifications have helped me understand and convert client desires into winning solutions.
I hold an MBA, BSc in Information Technology, over 10 other professional qualifications related to project management and business analysis. However, my passion is to meet people, understand their strategic problems or opportunities, discuss with them about the strategic direction they want to take and do consultative sales of products / solutions suitable to meet their strategic objectives.
I love travelling, photography and music and am an ardent sports fan
