I am a highly motivated and passionate photographer and image retoucher, specialising in Adobe Lightroom.
With a background in the UK TV industry, I am now an accomplished photographer offering services including: Image Retouching, Real Estate Photography, Landscape Photography, Travel Photography & Portraits.
I graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art & design (UK) in 2000 with a BA in Film & TV production. I immediately started working as a programme assistant for an independent TV production company, researching and assisting the co-ordination of location filming. Over the next 3 years I earned credits as a camera operator, location director and video editor.
In late 2003, after meeting my wife while traveling the world, I decided to specialise in video editing. I began working as an edit assistant for an independent post-production company in London before quickly being promoted to fulltime staff editor. I worked on various productions from corporate films, promos and adverts to documentaries and broadcast TV programmes.
While working as an editor I also learned colour grading as well as how to create graphic elements using Adobe Photoshop.
In 2010 I relocated to Switzerland with my wife’s job and decided take the opportunity to focus on my passion for travel & landscape photography.
Over the last 10 years I have become proficient in Adobe Lightroom and honed my Photoshop skills. I have assisted pro photographers and learnt to work with small flashes as well as studio lighting, before becoming a professional photographer myself.
My images have been published by National Geographic, The Guardian newspaper & 'in flight' magazines. My work has also being used in advertising on websites, blogs as well as for greeting cards & calendars.
I also sell travel & landscape prints to private clients as well as being an accomplished real estate & portrait photographer.
After moving to the French Alps, I am looking for remote image retouching jobs and photography work alongside my personal landscape projects and real estate photo shoots.
Work Terms
I work during European (GMT +1) office hours but can be flexible depending on deadlines.
