My name is Ryan Barbin. I recently graduated from California State University in Fullerton California with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising on May 22, 2016. I am a Louisiana native, born and raised in Marksville, LA. I moved to southern California after high school where I joined a non-profit, performing arts organization and traveled 14 countries and 40 states teaching music, dance, and acting. From there, I attended 4 different colleges/universities studying dance, music, acting, audio engineering/music production, business management, marketing and advertising. I love working with people, creating, designing, and developing ideas from creative vision to reality.
I currently have been working several jobs while attending school, including bartending/serving at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company where I have worked for 5+ years. I also work as a dance instructor, freelance audio engineer, vocal coach, and web designer. I have had 4 separate internships in digital marketing, marketing consulting, marketing promotions, and advertising. I am proficient with Word, Excel, Photoshop, ProTools, Logic, etc. I have worked as an audio engineer, music producer, sound designer, and musician for 15+ years. I also love to write. Whether it is music, business writing, copywriting, etc., I have a knack for being quick, witty, catchy, and very good at coming up with solid ideas very quickly. Through my internships, I have worked on advertising campaigns for Naked Juice, Jenny Craig, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, and Mallin Casual Furniture, creating taglines, creative campaign strategies, TV and radio spots, commercial jingles, sales promotions, and print advertisements.
