Choosing the right professional to work on your business's metadata is difficult. You'll need someone with a strong understanding of Business Processes, and a skill-set worthy of building said processes through metadata. That means they'll need to understand the 30,000-foot view just as well as they do the atomic & sub-atomic views - something only those both experienced & passionate about Salesforce can provide.

With that said, let me introduce one of them: Hi, I'm Ryan, a certified Salesforce Solution Architect looking to turn your Salesforce frustrations into scalable strengths.

A brief background on myself: I've been in the Salesforce space for over three years. Before that, I worked for the family non-profit. Our goal as a non-profit was to act as an incubator for for-profits, helping rural entrepreneurs in North Carolina design systems of management & streams of revenue that would allow them to grow, and bring wealth back into struggling communities. A short stint in the Healthcare industry introduced me to Salesforce. Once I realized the platform gave a business the freedom to design complex processes that could be wrapped in customizable UI/UX, the marriage certificate was signed and the rice was thrown.

Fast-forward to today: As of January 1st, 2019, I've parted ways with the consultancy I've worked for over the past year to further my freelancing career. My previous role of Solution Architect, where I managed an admin, developer and their a project manager, is no more - though I've retained the title. They say do what you love, and managing people isn't my passion - creating solutions is.

FAQs:

Q: Where are you located?
A: I live in Atlanta, GA.

Q: Are you willing to travel when necessary (design meetings, roll-outs, training, etc.)?
A: Yes, with two-weeks notice. Expenses are paid by the client.

Q: Will you have anyone else working on projects aside from yourself?
A: No. All projects are processed from start to finish by myself, and will never be outsourced.

Q: Do you take on multiple projects at once?
A: This is a big problem in the Salesforce Consultancy space. Too often firms bite off more than they can chew; too many projects leads to consultant burnout and client dissatisfaction. I will never take on more than 3 active projects at a time, both for my sanity and yours.

Q: What's the best way to price a project?
A: There's two ways. The first we'll call 'Fixed Bid', where we scope your project out over a few meetings and I then provide you with a detailed SoW - this document will detail hours & full cost. It will also provide you with a timeline. Second route is hourly/retainer.

Q: What times are you available?
A: 8am - 6pm EST, Monday - Friday.

Q: What middleware & AppExchange products do you have experience with?
A: To name a few: Pardot, Hubspot, AskNicely, Zappier, TechCanary, MapAnything, DocuSign, Conga, RollUpHelper, etc.

Q: Do you provide support once the project is complete?
A: Yes, you may contract my services as a consultant/admin for a set amount of hours each month. The length of the contract can be set to your needs, but the hours each month are guaranteed and will be invoiced on the 1st.
