I have been involved in the Internet industry in a wide variety of roles since 1995. My competencies include software development & testing, Internet protocols, client-server and distributed architectures, database design & optimization, and network and server management. My current focus is on websites and network servers utilizing Python, Django, and SQL, but I am also proficient with the programming languages Perl, PHP, Java, Javascript, C, and C++; web technologies including HTML, CSS, AJAX, HTTP, and SSL; and foundational Internet systems including web caching, email, DNS, IP routing, and VPNs. My goal is to quickly identify the best technology for your project (or adapt readily to your preferences or pre-existing systems), develop a comprehensive and accurate plan, and bring your project in on-time and under budget.
