Clarity and simplicity. ...
My name is Nunna Saidurga, and I am currently in the final year of my law studies at Indhira Priyadharshi Law College . Over the course of my legal education, I have gained strong academic knowledge in core subjects like Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure Code, Law of Evidence, and Professional Ethics. In my final semester, I am focusing more on subjects like Drafting, Pleading & Conveyancing, and Public Interest Lawyering, which are crucial for practical legal work.
I have also gained hands-on experience through several internships, which have enhanced my legal understanding and research skills:
At Legal Quorum, I worked as a Research Intern, where I wrote legal articles, analyzed case laws, and completed research assignments on topics such as Plea Bargaining in India and important Supreme Court judgments.
At AGISS Research Institute, I was involved in in-depth legal research, analysis of public policy issues, and writing on contemporary legal reforms. This internship strengthened my ability to present legal concepts in a structured and insightful manner.
With Nyaya Sarathak, I gained exposure to legal aid, social justice issues, and field-based research related to access to justice. I worked on assignments focusing on rights awareness and legal literacy.
At Legitimate India, I contributed as a Content Writer and Researcher, where my profile includes published articles that reflect my legal writing abilities and knowledge of current legal developments.
Apart from internships, I have participated in moot court competitions, taking up roles as both the prosecution in criminal cases and the defendant in civil suits, such as in a case related to specific performance. These experiences helped me develop advocacy, drafting, and argumentation skills.
To stay informed, I regularly read newspapers and legal updates to follow judgments and developments in Indian law. My areas of interest include Constitutional Law, Criminal Justice, Legal Aid, and Judicial Reforms.
With a strong sense of discipline and passion for the legal profession, I am committed to lifelong learning and contributing meaningfully to the legal system.
Thank you.
