I have 13 years of experience as a technical editor in aerospace engineering. During those years I moved from an entry-level position to one in which I was a lead editor, supervising two to three editors on my team, as well as one of the primary trainers for new hires. I created training presentations in PowerPoint, process checklists in Word, and edited a myriad of documents in Word.

My daily functions involved cradle to grave editing on Air Force Flight Test Center technical reports, from first outline to publication/distribution. I supported engineer authors throughout the writing process. As part of my training duties, I developed in-house training materials for editing team of ~30 on the use of templates and working with Microsoft Word. I also regularly performed quality checks on other editors work.
