Book Design & Editing Services

A little about me:

I combine my passions for books and art through my design & editing services. My educational background is in art, design, and photography, and I have years of experience in Adobe programs (mainly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), though I am always looking to expand my wheelhouse.

Helping people tell their stories in a way that matches their vision and making a book look great is what I do best. It is so important that a real person (not software) goes through your work to make sure the author's voice and grammatical structure are consistent throughout.

Preparing your manuscript is an essential part in the process to ensure that your document is ready for printing and/or distributing.

Listed below are the services I provide. If you have questions or need further clarification about what is best for your project, don't hesitate to ask!

For new clients, I am open to editing a small sample of your work (2-3 pages) so you can see how I edit, track changes, and query your document.


BOOK DESIGN:

— Interior formatting: print, epub, mobile, and/or on-demand services (CreateSpace, Lightning Source, etc). Ensuring your document matches specifications perfectly and maintains optimal readability for your audience. Professional and consistent presentation.

— Book cover design


EDITING:


— Proofreading (fixing grammatical and typographic errors)

— Copyediting ("quality control" addressing consistency and small details)

— Stylistic/Line Editing (reshaping sentences to maintain clarity and flow)

— Manuscript & book reviews
