I am a native English speaker who splits her time between the United States and Mexico. I am pretty new to Guru, but I have been freelancing since 2008 and have an established profile on oDesk. I regularly complete a wide variety of jobs relating to my writing and editing skills. The following is a list of some of the work I have done just in the past year:
-Written blogs for websites in the parenting/baby niche
-Created web content for higher education focuses websites
-Authored product reviews for a variety of products, including baby gear and novelty items
-Written product descriptions for novelty items, towel warmers, and bedding
-Created SEO articles, blogs, and other web content
-Copy-edited short stories and novels for digital and print publication
-Proofread website content
-Created athlete profiles for sports magazines

Work Terms

I do not work with clients who do not have a verified method of payment. My hourly rate is $22 USD per hour. For fixed-price projects, I generally will not consider anything less than $30 USD unless the project will take only a few minutes of my time. I do have regular clients I work with, so I do not take on jobs that have a deadline shorter than five days unless it is clearly discussed between myself and the client.
