I started with computers 33 years ago when I was 12 years old. Since then I have always worked for myself, creating businesses and products.
While new to Guru.com, I am certain not new to software development. My most successful company was Knife Edge Software. I created this company in 1996 and we went on to make not only the #1 radio control flight simulator for Windows, but the #1 best selling hobby product in the U.S. I sold this company in 2012 and am ready to start some new challenges.
My strengths are Windows application development using C++ and Microsoft Developer studio. But I am not afraid of new languages or challenges as my track record will attribute to.
In fact in 2005, I semi retired from software for a few years and funded and built a 5 star luxury fishing lodge in the Alaskan Wilderness. I spent millions of dollars and five years of my life building a 9,000 sq ft, 6 building complex in Alaska where the only way to get to the property was via boat! I also have a good eye for visual design and am a semi pro photographer. I have skills with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere.
