I live and love to write, and figure it's time I put my most pliable talent to use for myself and others. I'm easy - no job is too big or small and I'm happy to send samples as required.
Writers who are able to put forth their ideas with pace and urgency are at a premium in today’s contractor economy. Freelancers are too easily able to auto-pilot their way through a 500 word assignment; submit their work to a Google spellcheck first and an employer second; and move on to the next project without a second thought about the content or readability of their piece. Cheap writers on the freelance market are, by design and definition, just that – cheap. My freelance price is set at a reasonable $16 hourly because included therein it is the guaranteed extra effort other contract writers don't have the time or passion to put in. My schedule is reflexive, my attention to detail is unmatched and most importantly, I live – and love – to write. No assignment is too big or small and I welcome any and all opportunities to spend my time putting your stories into my pages and my abilities at your disposal.
ABOUT ME:
During my post-secondary education I left no stone unturned, studying everything from film and culture to politics and society. I had some of my best grades in statistics, English and business, graduated with a degree in Economics and a minor in Communications, and parlayed it into a bright and successful career in operations accounting for an Oil & Gas company in Calgary, AB. Don't let my numbers-focused current career path fool you: I'm proud of, and fully confident in, my ability to enthusiastically write and share projects with people who want to read them.
Work Terms
As of the writing of this bio I have a full-time (accounting) job during the week but am otherwise entirely flexible and don't mind working with deadlines. I enjoy writing assignments more than booking accruals, so you can rest assured that your project will be my top priority outside market hours. No job is too big or small.
